The Monarch is in a GREAT location! The Whole Foods flagship store is right across the street and a number of bars, stores, shops and places to eat are within 3 walking blocks of the Monarch.
A little tidbit fact – my wife and I originally placed a deposit to buy a unit in the Monarch when it was for sale as a condo, but since the ZOM developers (based out of the Netherlands) found the US Dollar to be weak at the time (11/2007), Zom decided to refund all deposits back to contractual buyers and lease the units as apartments instead instead of taking a 25-30% loss on the dollar/Euro exchange for purchase/sale of the condo units. Instead we purchased a unit in The Sabine on 5th.
