The Mueller development is taking place in the old Mueller (actually pronounced “Miller”) Airport. The Mueller development is located between East 51st to the North, Airport and Manor RD to the South, and Manor Rd to the East all falling within the 78723 zip code. The Mueller development prides itself with eco-friendly “green housing”. We love Mueller and jokefully call it a great location for the “urban yuppie” (ps: there is nothing wrong with being an urban yuppie!).

What kind of shopping and restaurants are around Mueller?
There is plenty of shopping and food in the Mueller development, however, it is mostly if not completely commercialized shops. You will find Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, WhichWhich and many other chain stores all within walking distance or a short drive in the community. The community has a great balance of convenience – shopping within Mueller or nearby Highland Mall, close vicinity to the University of Texas at Austin, and downtown nightlife – all within a 5-10 minute drive.

I have always liked the Mueller redevelopment and until now have always called it “Muuuller”. Thank you for the clarification.
And hopefully everything that is within a 10 minute drive will one day be accessible by a streetcar!
