Travis Heights – Where is it?
Travis Heights was one of the first “suburbs” of Austin located South of Lake Travis in the 78704 zip code. It is bounded by the Colorado River to the North, Oltorf St. to the South, I-35 to the East and Congress Ave. to the West. Travis Heights is also known as one of the best-positioned areas in South Austin and is one of the most desirable residential neighborhoods in Austin. Much like Hyde Park and most Central Austin neighborhoods, the area is very established with beautiful trees which give the homes and streets a feeling of privacy.
